I'm likely to post a bunch of stuff on Everway this week. I realize it's not a commonly-known game. Rather than give a full review, I think I'll just link to a really solid review, overview and history of the game.
I love Everway because it had so many awesome ideas. The system was minimalist, yet at the same time really flavorful. The setting is very open to customization. As the review (I linked to above) says:
Everway was one of the rare games that played like a dream.
